We're All The Children of God
I've been thinking about Fourth Nephi in the Book of Mormon and today's society. The people in Fourth Nephi just had the most incredible experience with Christ visiting the Americas. Here in America, we just came off the most divisive presidential election I've ever experienced. Two very different ends of the spectrum. In 4th Nephi 1:17 we read, "There were no robbers, nor murderers, neither were there Lamanites, nor any manner of -ites; but they were in one, the children of Christ, and heirs to the kingdom of God." They didn't label the different groups. They were just called "the children of Christ." Isn't that what we should do today? Instead of calling each other "liberals" or "Republicans" or mean names, can we just be Americans or children of Christ?
